Music in Motion is a premier entertainment company, providing me (Sean Hearn) as your host DJ / KJ and emcee with any combination of Music, Sound, Lighting, Special Effects and/or Karaoke. The majority of my shows are for Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, Christmas Parties and School Dances, but I can adapt my performance to any event or group of people such as Fraternity and Sorority functions, reunions, birthday parties, car shows, state conferences, homecomings, award ceremonies, Halloween Parties, company picnics, etc. Most of my shows are in Fort Smith Arkansas, Fayetteville Arkansas and Eureka Springs Arkansas, but I can perform anywhere within a 300 mile radius and include areas in the Southwest region like: Arkansas (Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Little Rock, Eureka Springs); Oklahoma (Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Poteau, Muskogee); and Missouri (Joplin, Springfield, Kansas City, Branson) – and all cities in between. For a few special events, I have traveled as far as Memphis Tennessee, New Orleans Louisiana, Round Rock Texas, Baltimore & Ocean City Maryland, Laurel Delaware and Las Vegas, Nevada.
I strive to make every gathering special, memorable and fun! My show is not the same every time out; rather, it is a reflection of your attendees within the type of gathering you are attempting to create. I work with the host of the event to get their ideas and hopes, so I can create the atmosphere desired. I have done small and personal, like the 30 guest wedding reception in Eureka Springs where the overall theme was elegance – mostly jazzy music and twinkling lights. To the other extreme, I have done huge and corporate, where I provided music, lights and karaoke to entertain 1200 Crossland Construction employees at a Christmas party. I read your guest’s ages and ethnic backgrounds and then select music I feel will please the group attending. Suppose it is a wedding reception with a wide range of ages – I might play a Sinatra Waltz for your Grandparents, then mix in some 2-steps for your Uncle from Texas and Disco for your parents. Suppose it is a High School Prom - the majority of the music will be latest cuts of top 40 to please the students, yet clean edits to please the school administration and parents.
I like to say, “Have Party Will Travel!” You think up the event, and get people to attend it. I will make sure the event runs smoothly and I will entertain your guests, regardless of age. If your guests show up and are willing to dance, I will coax them out of their seats and onto the dance floor!
I also find that many of my clients rely on my advice to insure to success of their event. Yes, I am the entertainer, but not just the entertainer. I also provide ideas to make your party be the best it can be! I can help you pick the right songs for the special moments. I can help you with the layout of the room. I can show you the best way to organize your tables with regards to the dance floor and food – you want to create a smooth flow. I can help you with the lighting in the room – eliminating daylight in appropriate ways and creating moods with up lighting and or candles leading up to the dance lighting. I can help you create an itinerary for the event that insures we remember everything you want included, eliminate things you don’t like and most importantly maintains a steady working flow throughout. From the time your first guest arrives until we play Happy Trails at the end, you want things to keep moving and stay smooth!
